Our area is rapidly changing from a rural one to a more suburban one; as farms and orchards change into housing developments, tract housing and wall to wall people, and there is a need to connect others with what used to be, and what once was. If we do not, it will be forgotten and later just bits and pieces of the history, like relics are brought to the surface to inquire what they once were, or how they figured into the scheme of the past.
We published Our Neck of the Woods to create a link so there is a written record and documentation can be made. This website is a way for folks to continue the conversation, share their stories and photos, and forge new links to the past.
